No smoking section is not working out

I was smitten by a letter which appeared in the Aug. 16 paper by Karen Millard, "Heavy smoking ruined concert." My sentiments exactly.

I attended the first night of Festival concerts and was offended also. It reminded me of a short saying sent to me by my granddaughter in Bozeman, Mont. — having a no-smoking section in a restaurant is like having a no-peeing section in a swimming pool.

Incidentally, the concert and food were excellent.
