Liberal media making much ado about nothing

| August 29, 2007 9:00 PM

In the 35 years I've been exposed to this rag (Bee), it's never ceased to amaze me at the drivel that so consistently shows up on these pages, especially in the editorials. The Aug. 28 editorial has, without a doubt, surpassed all previous stupid statements.

Sen. Larry Craig has served the people of Idaho for many, many years in a most admirable way and to have his good name dragged through the political crap is a total insult to any fair-thinking Idahoan.

In the first place, Mr. Keyes, your information has no doubt come from the rest of the liberal media who are always looking for a reason to slam conservatives in general. To me, this fiasco smacks of a political setup. I would not be surprised if the cop involved is gay himself and was hired by the Democrats to invent the whole darn thing.

So what if the story were true, what's it got to do with the job Sen. Craig is doing for his constituents? Nothing. You have tried and convicted the senator on hearsay. You are the one who should apologize for jumping to conclusions. Shame on you, Mr. Keyes. I'm reminded of the old saying "much ado about nothing."
