NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL ELECTION

PONDERAY, IDAHO

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That the general election to be held in and for the City of Ponderay, Idaho, will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, on which day the polls will be open from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The election is held for the purpose of electing a Mayor for a term of four years, and two (2) councilmember's for a term of four years. Candidates for city elected office are required to file a declaration of candidacy with the City Clerk, accompanied by a nonrefundable filing fee of $40 or a petition of candidacy signed by at least five qualified city electors that has been verified by the County Clerk's office. The deadline for filing declarations of candidacy is Friday, September 7, 2007 at 5:00 p.m. Declarations of candidacy are available at City Hall in the office of the City Clerk at 288 4th Street, Ponderay, Idaho from the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
