NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Commissioners will hold public hearings at the following times on Wednesday, September 12, 2007, in the meeting room of the Federal Building, 1500 Highway 2, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following requests:

1:30 P.M. - FILE S1440-06 - BRYCE MEADOWS - PRELIMINARY PLAT - HOOP LOOP, LLC is seeking preliminary plat approval to subdivide 41 acres into 8 lots ranging between 5.21 and 5.27 acres in size. The site is zoned Rural and is located off of Hoop Loop. The property is located in Section 34, Township 56 North, Range 5 West, B.M. The Planning & Zoning Commission at its regularly scheduled public hearing of August 16th, recommended approval of this application to the Board of County Commissioners.

1:45 P.M. - FILES C878-07 - CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT & S1483-07 - UPLAND ACRES - PRELIMINARY PLAT - LARRY LITTLE, ET AL are seeking approval for a small-scale planned unit development and public/private utility complex facility and a preliminary plat for a 7-lot residential development and a common area. The project is located on Upland Drive and Baldy Mountain Road and will include residential homesites and a common open space. Lots are proposed to be about 1 acre in size. The site is zoned Suburban. The property is located in Section 17, Township 57 North, Range 2 West, B.M. The Planning & Zoning Commission at its regularly scheduled public hearing of August 16th, recommended approval of these applications to the Board of County Commissioners.

2:15 P.M. - FILE V373-07 - VARIANCE REQUEST: BUILDING PLACEMENT - DON & NANCY MC CANLIES are requesting variance approval to allow placement of five multi-family buildings on one lot, rather than five buildings on five individual lots, as required by county code. The project is zoned Recreation and is located on Lots 1 through 6, Block 2 of Slalom Road Plat, in Section 20, Township 58 North, Range 2 West, B.M. at Schweitzer Mountain. The site has frontage on Northwest Passage. The Board of County Commissioners are considering this application following an appeal of the Planning & Zoning Commission's decision of June 7, 2007, to deny the variance application.

2:15 P.M. - FILE C874-07 - CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING - DON & NANCY MC CANLIES are requesting conditional use permit approval for five 4-unit multi-family residential buildings. The project is located on Lots 1 through 6, Block 2 of Slalom Road Plat, in Section 20, Township 58 North, Range 2 West, B.M. on Schweitzer Mountain. The site is zoned Recreation and has frontage on Northwest Passage. The Board of County Commissioners are considering this application following an appeal of the Planning & Zoning Commission's decision of June 7, 2007, to deny the conditional use permit application.
