Ron Paul's popularity is no coincidence

| December 1, 2007 8:00 PM

I would like to thank the Bonner County Daily Bee for front-paging the article "Paul popular pick in Bonner County."

The effort to raise awareness of Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) and his bid for the Republican nomination for president has revealed huge numbers of people willing to work for a change in the direction this country has taken. "I have never been part of a political campaign before," is the most common statement made by people who attend Ron Paul meet-up groups. Several Ron Paul meet-ups meet regularly in locations throughout northern Idaho and eastern Washington.

It seems that many Americans want to see an end to the growth industry of government of, by and for monied interests and are willing to help restore government of, by and for participatory people.
