Paul Deckers, 76

Paul Deckers, 76, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007, at his home in Sagle, Idaho.

A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007, at the Gardenia Center in Sandpoint.

Paul was born in Antwerp, Belgium, on April 25, 1931. He later attended college at St. Jean Berchmans in Antwerp, graduating with a degree in engineering. His first job was at De Man Co. working in radiology.

He married Lillian Hucklenbroich on Sept. 2, 1957. They have a daughter Dominique, born in June 1958.

Paul managed a medical branch of Van Der Heyden for 16 years. Then he started his own company, "Percussonaire." Paul's new company thrived for eight years doing business in many countries until he got Parkinson's disease. He sold his company and retired here in Sandpoint.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian and daughter, Dominique.
