Maudie Moyle, 96

Maudie Moyle, 96, (formerly of Sagle, Idaho) died Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, at Mountain View Manor in Eureka, Mont.

Mrs. Moyle was born on Oct,ober 15, 1911 at Grass Valley, California to John Chapman and Nancy (Bennett) Chapman; she married Carl Moyle on January 1, 1930 at Butte, Montana. They had five children, Ethel, Carl, Jr., Robert, Nancy and Ronald.

The family resided in Butte until coming to Sagle, Idaho in the 1950's where they opened and operated the Silver Butte Mines in the Talache area. Following her husband's death, she moved to Eureka, Montana in 1988 to be closer to family.

Maudie had been the ultimate grandmother, cooking, baking, hiking and listening to all her grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her three sons as well as a granddaughter and grandson.

Survivors include her daughters, Ethel (Carl) Lundeen and Nancy Moyle, both of Eureka, Mont.; 16 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.

Private arrangements are by Nelson & Vial Funeral Homes and Crematory, Eureka Chapel. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
