Nancy Singleton, 71

Nancy Singleton, 71, passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho, on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007. She was a lifetime Sandpoint area resident.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007. in Coffelt's Funeral Chapel. Potluck to follow at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall.

Nancy was born in Sand-point on Aug. 20, 1936, the daughter of Samuel and Edith Pierce.

She attended Hope School and Sandpoint High School.

For many years she worked as a waitress for the Travelers and at the Pastime Cafe. She later took health care training and worked as a nurses aid, in home health care, retiring in 2002.

She is survived by, her son Buck (and Shan-non) Hinkle of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; her daughter Candace Sue Singleton of Sandpoint; five grandchildren, Melissa Singleton of Sacramento, Calif., Amanda Hinkle of Los Angeles, Calif., and Drake Hinkle and Riley and Hunter Schaffer of Coeur d'Alene; three sisters, Nina Conn of Coeur d'Alene, Margie Pierce of Sandpoint, and Beverly Pennington of Coeur d'Alene; two brothers, Robert Pierce of St Anthony, Idaho, and William Pierce of Coeur d'Alene. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Sylvia Rhodes, and Colleen Hunt.
