Naomi Louise Ulen, 86
Naomi Louise Ulen, 86, passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho, on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 19, in the Sandpoint Christian Center. Pastor Wesley Ribeiro will be officiating.
Naomi was born on May 17, 1921, and grew up in Conrad, Mont., attending local schools. She lived in the Shelby/Cut Bank area of Montana for many years.
In 1955, she moved to Coeur d'Alene and worked as a nurse's aide.
Naomi moved to Sandpoint in 1982, continuing to work as a nurse's aide until retiring in 1986.
She was a member of the Sandpoint Christian Center for more than 15 years. She enjoyed taking care of her family and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Harold Ulen of Sandpoint; five children, Shirley Kester of Billings, Mont.; Leland (and Anita) Steinbrenner of Vancouver, Wash., Sharon Warren of Sandpoint, Marilyn (and Forest) Perkins of Kentucky, Patsy (and Richard) Morris of Kentucky.
Also surviving are 15 grandchildren including locally Stephen and Trevor Eidson of Sandpoint; 23 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Her parents, her husband Frank Ferraro, five brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
