SANDPOINT — Two men were arrested late Wednesday after drug agents raided their west Sandpoint apartment and found cocaine, methadone and more than several pounds of marijuana.

Avery Forest Auletta, 22, and Charles John Kingsland, 24, are charged with possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, trafficking marijuana via possession and possession of methadone.

Judge Debra Heise set Auletta's bail at $100,000 during a court hearing on Thursday. Kingsland's bail was set at $50,000 and a public defender was appointed to represent him, court records indicate.

Sandpoint Police narcotics agents served a search warrant on second-floor apartment at 1175 South Lincoln Avenue, court documents indicate. The search yielded more than $13,000 in cash, an undisclosed amount of cocaine, 4 pounds of pot, 20 tablets of methadone, scales and an assortment of drug paraphernalia.

Auletta is currently on probation for driving under the influence and possession of MDMA, a synthetic drug similar to the stimulant methamphetamine and the hallucinogen mescaline. Those charges resulted from a March 2006 traffic stop, court documents said.
