Celebrate Christmas, not the holiday season

| December 19, 2007 8:00 PM

I am so disgusted. The PC police are everywhere, yet they are all intents and purposes, according to every poll I have seen, and everyone I hear from they are but a minute fraction of the public.

I am told I am lacking compassion for others, being "un"- Christian, insensitive, when I show disdain for the erosion of my culture, our national and historical traditions, values and morals.

I put up Christmas lights, decorate the family Christmas tree, celebrate Christmas.

I am told that it might be offensive to the one or two who have come to the melting pot of the U.S. I am given excuses about the fictional "separation of church and state."

How about the facts for a change? We are a republic founded on biblical standards. A super majority of our democracy stills clings to and approves of such things as "in God we trust,", nativity scenes, and "Merry Christmas."

So tell me Kris Crocker, KXLY, KHQ, KREM … why do you offend the majority of your viewing audience and exclude us by trying to pander to the segregational attitudes of the minority of the population?

They are Christmas lights, Christmas trees, it is the Christmas season, both a secular and religious celebration. The kids are going on Christmas break.

Merry Christmas, everyone.
