Lois K. Bond, 82

Lois K. Bond, 82, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Private services have been held.

Lois was born on Nov. 24, 1924, in Vail, Iowa, to Robert and Mary (Sisty) Anderson. She grew up in the Vail, Iowa area and attended local schools.

She met Bud Bond in 1946 and they married in Reno, Nev. Bud worked for the A. Teighert Company and Lois raised their children in Sacramento, Calif., where they made their home. Her husband Bud passed away in 1984 in Sacramento and in 1997 Lois moved to Sandpoint to be closer to her family.

Lois was a member of the Eastern Star in Placerville, Calif., and loved crocheting, sewing, cooking and raising her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Dotty Porter of Sandpoint; grandchildren, Jason (Margaret) Porter of Sandpoint, Brian (Lisa) Porter of Sandpoint, Brenda (Steve) Anderson of Lewiston, Idaho, Jesse Bond of Brookings, Ore., and David Bond of Brookings, Ore.; great-grandchildren, Jesse, Ashlynn, Benjamin, Julie, Nathan and Jacob; and sisters, Donna Ribordy of California, Jeannie Phillips of Oregon and Helen of California.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Bud.
