BEFORE THE BOARD OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY

On January 25, 2007, the Association of Concerned Sandpoint Businesses (ACSB) filed a petition to initiate a contested case with the Board of Environmental Quality (Board). ACSB is seeking Board review of the Section 401 Water Quality Certification of the Sand Creek Byway project issued to the Idaho Department of Transportation by the Department of Environmental Quality on December 22, 2006.

The Rules of Administrative Procedure Before the Board of Environmental Quality, IDAPA 58.01.23, allow persons who claim a direct and substantial interest in the proceeding to file a petition with the Board for an order granting intervention to become a party. Pursuant to IDAPA 58.01.23.352.01, petitions to intervene must be filed with the Hearing Coordinator within fourteen (14) days of the publication date of this notice.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANDPOINT, IDAHO AMENDING TITLE 7, CHAPTER 2, SECTION 3, SUBSECTION A, RE-DEFINING THE VIOLATION IN THIS SECTION FROM A MISDEMEANOR TO AN INFRACTION AND REVISING THE FINE ACCORDINGLY; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Section 1 provides that failing to remove snow from sidewalks shall be an infraction with a maximum penalty as allowed by Idaho Code; Section 2 provides for repeal and severability; Section 3 provides an effective date.

The full Ordinance is on file with the Sandpoint City Clerk and will be promptly provided during regular business hours to any citizens on personal request.
