Traffic signal needed at dangerous intersection

How many more serious automobile accidents and near accidents is it going to take before a signal light is put at this very dangerous intersection of Lakeshore Drive and Highway 95 in Sagle?

The Landing Restaurant is going to open in March and The Lodge at Sandpoint is going to open this summer. Do we have to wait until more people are injured or killed at this very dangerous intersection before a signal light is installed?
