Edward Nicholas Miller, 78, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 22, 2007, in Sandpoint, Idaho after a struggle with cancer.

All friends and family are invited to Monique's home between 3-6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007, to remember and celebrate Ed's life.

Ed was born Aug. 9, 1928 to John and Mary Miller in Mallard, Iowa. He joined the Air Force and served in both Korea and Vietnam.

Ed retired as a senior master sergeant at Nellis Air Force base in Nevada. He reflected on his career as the most memorable and happy years in his life.

In Las Vegas he owned and operated a heating and air-conditioning repair service. He moved to Sandpoint 12 years ago, where he had built a large air plane hangar on Colburn Culver Road.

Ed was most known for his love of aircraft; his most recent undertaking a 3/4-scale P38.

Survivors include two brothers Ray and Gene, sister Mary of Iowa, and daughter Monique and her family of Sandpoint.
