Walter R. Robbins

Walter R. Robbins, 66, passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho, on Jan. 3, 2007.

Family memorial services will be held later in Rhode Island.

Walter was born in Pawtucket, R.I., on Dec. 7, 1940, where he attended local schools. He was a veteran of the U.S. armed forces. Following his military service he drove long haul truck throughout the United States.

He was a member of the NRA, moving to the Sandpoint area in 1986, living in the Upper Pack River area.

He enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the Northwest and living in this area.

He is survived by close friend, Linda Florea of Sandpoint, Idaho; four sisters, Shirley Martin of Florida, Carleen Lefebvre of Rhode Island and twins, Janice Caliri and Joan Bruno of Rhode Island; numerous nieces and nephews in Rhode Island; and many close friends here in Sandpoint.
