Jenny Elizabeth Little, 92
Jenny Elizabeth Little, 92, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 22, 2006, in Costa Mesa, Calif.
She was born on Dec. 18, 1914, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Elmer J. and Mary V. Nelson-Linden. Her schooling was in Youngstown.
Jenny married Gilbert Clyde Little in Youngstown on April 10, 1937. They had three children, all born in Youngstown. They moved to Long Beach, Calif., in 1944 and later moved to Apple Valley and Hesperia, Calif.
Jenny loved being a wife and mother. Her love for her family was evident and enjoyed the family get-togethers. She loved baking cookies and, when her daughter Nancy would come home on weekends from college she would return to school with an ample supply of cookies to share with her friends.
Jenny loved to teach 2- and 3-year-olds in Sunday School. The children loved their teacher.
Jenny moved to Cocolalla, Idaho, in 1994 to be closer to her oldest daughter. Jenny enjoyed living in Idaho and attending Sandpoint Assembly of God Church, where she was a member. In 2002, she moved back to California to live with her son and daughter-in-law and her youngest daughter.
Jenny is survived by her children, her daughter, Mary Reed and husband, Bill, of Cocolalla, son, Gilbert Charles Little and wife, Kathy, of Westminster, Calif., daughter Nancy Little of Aliso Viejo, Calif.; grandchildren, Cindy (Duane) Flaget of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Don (Angie) Reed of Apple Valley, Calif., Jami (Jason) Frese of El Dorado, Calif., Philip (Julie) Little of Antelope, Calif. and Jonathan Reed of Cocolalla; great-grandchildren, Stephanie (Richard) Coronado, S.C., Aaron Reed of Apple Valley, Calif., Alexander, Austin and Addison Frese of Eldorado Hills, Calif., Logan and Gannon Little of Antelope, Calif.; great-great-grandchild, Josiah Coronado of South Carolina; a sister, Dorothy Young of Lodi, Calif.; a brother, Donald Linden of Canfield, Ohio; and sisters-in-law, Jane Linden of Sandusky, Ohio., and Marie Little of Alpharetta, Ga.
Jenny was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert C. Little, of 43 years; her parents and brothers, David, Raymond and George Linden.
Graveside services took place in Victorville, Calif., on Dec. 29, 2006.
Mother, you are loved and you are missed on this earth, but we know you are happy in heaven.
