Blake Eugene Judd, 19
Blake Eugene Judd, 19, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2007, in Sandpoint, Idaho.
He was born on June 14, 1987, in Salmon, Idaho. Blake attended school in Blaine County. He grew up with a love of the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing and riding his Dad's snowmobiles and ATVs. Blake was truly inspired by his Grandpa Jimmy and his father Brett. They both taught him to appreciate the outdoors.
Blake always had the desire to be a professional guide. He adored his two black labs, Gracie and Sallie; they were always at his side.
In July 2006, Blake moved to Sandpoint with his mother. Looking forward to starting a new chapter in his life, Blake made many new friends and enjoyed his new surroundings.
He is survived by his mother, Michelle Peterson of Sandpoint; his father, Brett Peterson of Bellevue, Idaho; a brother, Jake Peterson of Moscow, Idaho; a sister, Kasey Bruno of Boise, Idaho: grandparents, Ted and Lois Peterson of Jerome, Idaho; an aunt and uncle, Dorothy and Eric Jones of Bellevue; an uncle, Dave Judd of Powell, Wyo.; an uncle, Vernon Judd of Moses Lake, Wash.; an uncle James "Chip" Judd of Lewiston; an uncle, Joel Peterson of Bellevue; an aunt, Brenda Peterson of Portland, Ore.; an aunt, Kristi Patterson of Jerome; an aunt, Heidi Peterson of Phoenix, Ariz.; and several cousins along with many, many friends. Blake was proceeded in death by his grandparents Jimmy and Betty Judd.
Blake will always be loved and greatly missed by all that knew him. Blake's ashes will be scattered around Herd Lake, a place that Blake named Deer Heaven, to rest in peace in the Idaho Rocky Mountains.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007, at the Wood River Chapel in Hailey. A reception will follow at Hailey Auto Body, 1040 Airport Way in Hailey. Local services in Sandpoint will be held at noon on Thursday Jan. 25, 2007, at Lakeview Funeral Home.
