Will the bypass ever be built in community?

Back in the 1950s, when they first started talking about a highway bypass around Sandpoint, I was a young woman. Now I'm a much older woman — still no bypass. They're not building the pyramids, for crying out loud. Maybe if I lived to be as old as Methusaleh I'd get to see a bypass built, but I'm not betting any money on it.
