The Sandpoint City Council will hold a public hearing at their regular meeting on Wednesday, July 18, 2006 to hear public testimony regarding a proposal to establish the following fees:

PUBLIC RECORDS REQUESTS

1. A fee of $0.10 per copy will be charged on all public requests for regular copies of public records;

2. A fee of $1.00 per copy shall be charged for any copy 17"x24" or greater in size;

3. A fee of $0.50 shall be charged for each CD of digital copies, and actual out of pocket expense will be billed for copies of any audio or videotape;

4. An additional fee of $33.23 per hour in labor costs will be charged on all requests for copies of public records when: A) the request is for more than 100 pages, or B) the request includes records from which nonpublic information must be deleted, or C) the actual labor associated with locating, copying, or deleting personal information from the documents is more than 2 person hours.

MOORAGE SLIP WAITING LIST

A new non-refundable fee of $20.00 will be charged in order to be added to the moorage slip waiting list for City Marinas.

The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall, 1123 Lake Street, Sandpoint, ID.
