Comparison with Tucker is not credible argument

Re: Mr. Wynhausen's letter posted July 8, comparing Scooter Libby to a murderess.

A murderer, even one that extenuating circumstances would give "only" a life term, does not in any way compare to a politically motivated set of charges against a member of a governing party's cabinet.

Karla Faye Tucker beat a naked female stranger to death with a pickaxe, with more than 30 blows, then killed a man who had been beaten senseless with another 20 blows from the pickaxe, and then left the pickaxe in the heart of the woman.

The extenuating circumstances you lament were the prior three days Ms. Tucker had spent being high on placydills, dilaudids, valium, mandrex and more, washed down with beer, whiskey and tequila, while engaging in a multi-person orgy.

Do you have any more credible support for your politically motivated ire? Saddam Hussein is much more comparable to Ms. Tucker than to George Bush.
