Coldwater Creek adds program that includes personal shoppers

SANDPOINT — Coldwater Creek on Wednesday launched "onecreek," a program for rewarding its most valuable customers.

A retailer of women's apparel, jewelry, gifts and accessories, Coldwater Creek's new program will feature discounts and special promotions.

Benefits also will include previews of upcoming trends and new merchandise, customer service specialists who can find "what she wants," a personal shopper, exclusive savings and promotions, free shipping on returns, and a gift for birthdays.

The program is being tested in select markets and scheduled for full roll-out in September.

"While many retailers have used their loyalty programs to capture customer name and address, we are optimizing the use of our existing customer database to identify and initially enroll over 250,000 of our very best customers in onecreek," said Dennis Pence, chairman and chief executive officer for Coldwater Creek.

Coldwater Creek was founded in Sandpoint in 1984 as a home-operated, mail order service. Today, the company has about 10,000 employees, including 800 at its 20-acre campus in Ponderay

Coldwater Creek has stores in the 48 contiguous United States. By the end of 2007, it plans to have 304 stores.
