Coleen Clara Bauer, 62

Coleen Clara Bauer, 62, passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2007, in Sandpoint, Idaho, after a long battle with cancer.

Memorial services will be held today, Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at 1 p.m. at the Lakeview Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Neuder officiating.

Coleen was born in Sturgis, S.D., on June 4, 1945, to Malden "Mel" and Adeline Spencer. She grew up and attended schools in Sturgis.

On Aug. 25, 1962, Coleen married Kent Bauer at the Sturgis Presbyterian Church.

In Sandpoint, Coleen worked as a cashier at Kmart and later at Wal-Mart, retiring in 2001. She loved the game of bingo and could be found at the Eagle's or VFW bingo nights with her son, Mike, and her many friends.

She is survived by her husband, Kent Bauer of Sandpoint; three sons, Mike, Dwaine and Cody Bauer of Sandpoint; three sisters, Doneen Wiser of Sacramento, Calif., Joanne Hull of Deadwood, S.D., Viorene Larson of Sioux Falls, S.D.; and a brother, Parvin Spencer of Denver, Colo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Phyllis, Panchita, Jocelyn, and Nelda; and a brother William.
