Coverage was out of proportion with event

I would like to set the record straight about Patrick Morris, which made front page news on July 14.

There are a couple of alterations that need to be addressed.

I had just pulled into the parking lot to have a quiet Sunday morning breakfast and was looking for a place to park. Bang, a cyclist with no brakes on his bike and I had an incident.

I put him and the bike into my truck, and took him first to the emergency room at Bonner General Hospital. He was released with a bruised shoulder.

Then I took his bike to the bike shop to be repaired. The first thing they noticed was no brakes on the bike.

I did have the emergency room doctor bill me and likewise at the bike shop.

You must be desperate for front-page news.
