Talache Road Maintenance Reconstruction Bid

NOTICE OF ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed Bids will be received by Bonner County at the office of the Bonner County Commissioners, 215 South 1st Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho 83864 on or before the 7th day of June, 2007, until the hour of 10:00 a.m. for the Talache Road Maintenance Reconstruction Bid.

The project generally consists of the following:

Base Bid: Pulverizing 2.55 miles of Talache Road in Bonner County, spreading and mixing approximately 665 ton of cement, processing and shaping the cement treated base and surfacing the road with approximately 5,230 tons of hot mixed asphalt concrete.

Bids will be opened in the office of the commissioners at the Bonner County Courthouse 7th day of June, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. on said date. All interested individuals are welcome to attend.

Bid forms, bidder's instructions, and specifications and contract forms may be examined at the following locations:

Copies may be obtained at the office of the Bonner County Public Works. The standard set of contract documents includes the project drawings.

All bids shall be presented or otherwise delivered to the Bonner County Commissioners under seal with a concise statement marked on the outside thereof identify-ing the expenditure to which the bid pertains.

All bids shall contain one of the following forms of bidder's security in an amount equal to 5% of the amount bid: (a) Cash, (b) Cashiers Check made payable to the County, (c) Certified Check made payable to the County, or (d) bidder's bond executed by a qualified Idaho Surety Company, made payable to the County. Bids will remain subject to acceptance for 45 days after the bid opening.

Davis-Bacon Wage Rates will not be applicable to this project.

The right is reserved to reject any or all Bids.
