Incorporate art to add character and soul

Re: The blandness of infrastructure

We all know the area is growing and our infrastructure (roads, bridges, sidewalks, etc. …) need to be improved and enhanced but does it have to be so ugly?

Art can be incorporated into our infrastructure while still allowing the infrastructure to serve and function as it is intended. If we are truly an art area we need to think about what that means and how we make it a part of our daily life. We need to raise the awareness level and ask why does it have to be dull and gray.

Art can help create a sense of community and place. It can engage a community while attracting attention and providing an economic boost.

We are under going massive infrastructure projects in this area (which we need) but they are doing nothing for the character and soul of the area yet with some partnerships and foresight they could.
