Officials were elected to lead, protect U.S.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.),

I have already contacted both Idaho congressman and both Idaho senators regarding this absolutely ludicrous immigration reform bill that is being debated.

A few minutes ago I heard your diatribe about us "loud" people. It's hard for me to remain civil after listening to your self-righteous indignation, and your condescending comments.

The American people — I'm one — do not want a wall; I do not want any amnesty; I don't want bi-lingual education in our schools; I do not want my tax dollars spent on social nets for illegals; I do not want more billions spent on more ineffectiveness.

What I do want is this: strict enforcement of existing laws; swift and sure penalties for employers who hire illegals; no automatic citizenship for kids of illegals born in the U.S. I want illegals to be punished, not rewarded

You folks are elected to protect our language, our borders and our culture. This horrible bill you are attempting to jam through does none of these things.

In my opinion, our own legislators in Washington, D.C. are either out of touch, don't care what their constituents want, think other Americans besides themselves are ignorant, consider us as, and I quote you, "… loud," or all of the above.

Americans want leadership from Congress. Instead, we're getting a steady diet of verbiage that is meant to embellish your own image.

Do what you were sent to D.C. to do… lead!

Thanks for your time.

A patriotic legal American and supporter of the troops,
