Take a moment to thank a teacher
Thank you, teachers!
On this last day of school, we should all take a few minutes to thank those teachers who were so key to our offsprings' education this past year. If your students have already graduated, or if you have memories of teachers who helped you, your recognition of the folks who play such an important role in our society couldn't hurt, either.
When is the last time you thanked or hugged a teacher?
Thank you, Miss Gunter and Miss Hofmeister and especially Mrs. Nielsen, whose vision for Carden Academy-Sandpoint attracted these two great teachers and awesome role models for my two tax deductions.
Austin, Olivia and the entire Keyes family, thank you for planting seeds for lifelong education.
On May 17, a handful of deserving educators, received recognition as recipients of the first ever Spirit of Education awards night.
These teachers have chosen to make a difference. These teachers made enough of a difference to be chosen by their peers, parents or students as deserving of an award.
On today's Education page, take a moment to see what some of our educators are doing and get a glimpse of what is going on in our classrooms this year.
Thanks, again, educators. It has never been harder to be a teacher and we appreciate your efforts. As a community we are honored you have chosen this noble profession and have decided to help mold the next generation of leaders.
