Lumbermen beat Sandpoint Lakers

COEUR d'ALENE — Tucker Anderson pitched three hitless innings of relief and drove in three runs as the Coeur d'Alene Lumbermen beat the Sandpoint Lakers 15-5 in class AA North Idaho League action Wednesday night at Memorial Field.

Zach Clanton went 3 for 4 and drove in two runs for Coeur d'Alene (10-3, 5-1 NIL), which has gone 4-0 in league play over the last three days. The Lumbermen beat Sandpoint on Monday.

Sandpoint scored five runs in the first two innings before the bats cooled. Cory Hawkins and Cody Reichart each doubled in the loss.

Sandpoint hosts Thompson Falls in a doubleheader today at 5 p.m.
