Regarding water rights meeting postponed
To all landowners, the law looks like it has passed, you can thank Shawn Keough, Bill Sali, Larry Craig, George Eskridge and others. Knowing what can happen is the best protection against losing any of your property rights.
Everyone who owns a home and property has a time-honored right to undisturbed possession or unwanted meters on property, Basically this means no exceptions. You have say so. Anyone that doesn't comply is trespassing. (You may sue a trespasser for damage.)
Also, your right to bar public officials is more limited (only in search and seizure), which certainly this does apply to this water right.
You in the area can do it. Write, call and e-mail. Stop this.
