Paegon Kurt Dunn passed from this life on June 22, 2007, in Spokane, Wash.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 27, in the Pack River Cemetery. Pastor Jon Pomeroy, First Church of God, will officiate.

Paegon was born on Aug. 7, 1961, in Sandpoint, Idaho, the son of William (Budd) and Patsy (Pat) Dunn. He attended Northside Grade School and graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1979.

He joined the U.S. Navy and served on the USS Dixon going to Australia and several other countries. He transferred to the USS Coral Sea (aircraft carrier) and went around the world. He loved going to all the other countries and seeing how people lived. His interest and business pursuits were under the name of Selkirk Telephone Co., working in electronics and telephone systems.

Paegon had fought Crohn's disease since the age of 23, and it was a lifelong disabling struggle. He should be remembered for his crazy sense of humor, his loyalty to his family and many friends, and his love of animals. He loved gourmet cooking, fishing, camping, and out-of-door activities.

Survivors include his parents Budd and Patsy Dunn; "Uncle Gail" and Ick Anderson and many other loved family members and friends.

His grandparents Robert and Olive Winterton and Ray and Lenny Dunn preceded him in death.
