Pence's generosity deserves round of applause

Dennis Pence has proven himself to be a man of great vision and drive over the years as evidenced by the success of Coldwater Creek, Inc.

Mr. Pence has long been a "behind the scenes" supporter of education in our community. Now he has given the community and the people of Idaho a tremendous gift. The recently announced University of Idaho campus here in Sandpoint and the gift of land to construct a new high school are outstanding acts of philanthropy.

Because those gifts will benefit the most treasured resource of our community (our young people) those gifts will provide great benefits to our community for generations to come.
