Grace Estella McArthur, 82

Grace Estella McArthur, 82, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2007, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on ,Friday, March 23, 2007 at the Sandpoint Church of the Nazarene, 477954 Highway 95 North, Sandpoint, Idaho. Pastor Chad Wilks and Pastor Craig Wikoff are officiating.

Grace was born on July 7, 1924, in Salem, Ore., the daughter of Lawrence and Stella (Branden) Cox. Grace was a loving mother and devoted wife living in McCall, Idaho moving to Elk City, Idaho, where she and her husband Lewis Harp owned and operated a General Store for nine years.

Grace married Jean McArthur and together they owned and operated McArthur Trailer Park in Walla Walla, Wash.

Grace was a member of Parker, Ariz., Southern Baptist Church. While living in Sandpoint, she attended the Sandpoint Church of the Nazarene and truly appreciated the love extended to her. She was looking forward to becoming a member of the church later this spring.

In July 2005, all of her children helped her celebrate her 80th birthday.

Grace is survived by her brothers Dale Cox of Weippe, Idaho, Harold Cox of Grand Junction, Colo., and Melvin Cox of Knoxville, Tenn.; sister Faye Yantis of Council, Idaho.; her children Darlene Lyon and her husband Don of Sandpoint, Bill Harp and his wife Mary of Loveland, Colo., and Lawrence Harp and his wife Gloria of Lakeside, Ariz. She is also survived by grandchildren Christy Harp of Showlow, Ariz., Lari Dawn Harp of Redwood City, Calif., Michael Harp of Seattle, Wash., and Shaun Lynch of Corvallis, Ore., and four great-grandchildren.

Grace was preceded in death her husbands, Lewis Harp and Jean McArthur; brothers, Raymond Cox and Gerald Cox; a sister, Dorothy Cox; and a grandson, Ted Lyon.
