Dismissive attitude shows toward byway supporters
What a deal Sunday's letter (March 4, Daily Bee) was. NICAN and Potter giving us both barrels at the same time. Mr. Potter, in particular, seems to have adopted an arrogant, condescending and pompous attitude toward all who oppose him. Lawrence Furry really seems to get him going (read the Bee's blogs.)
Potter now refers to all supporters (majority — a word Mr. Potter, and NICAN, disdain) as "Sandcreekers," and our use of "sound bites" such as "mud flat." Really liked the admission of his "our many late-night, (could that be because he can't sleep with all the trains going by?) cappuccino-powered strategy sessions" in which they struggled to come up with a "cerebral message." (I guess that refers a message we, the majority, could understand.)
Talk about sound bytes, how many times have we had "Clean Water Act, Section 404, and wetlands" thrown in our faces.
