Legislators disrespected our military and troops

| March 24, 2007 9:00 PM

I know the sound of spit when I hear it. The collective rumbling coming from the throats of the U.S. House of Representatives was the volcanic bile they let fly on our brave and honorable U.S. military, ref. H.R. 41.

Many of these folks and their wannabes are the same righteous cut n-runners that were found in the '60s and '70s, eagerly letting their curses and spittle fly at me and other Vietnam vets. Show some courage, come out of the closet and proudly proclaim your disdain for America and its military. Stop hiding behind the phrase, "1 support the troops but not the war." Dropping the tie dye shirts, taking a bath and a trip to the barber shop does not fool us. We know who you are. When the Islamo fascists show up at your door it will be too late.
