? Sandpoint beats Badgers in Lacrosse

Sandpoint used a balanced attack to beat Bonners Ferry 8-6 in hard-hitting lacrosse action Wednesday in Bonners Ferry.

Will Knipe scored three goals and goalie Zeb Smith stopped 22 shots as Sandpoint rallied for the win. Steven Lee added two goals and Nick Johnson, Ivan Redding and Casey Nutt each scored once.

"When we started this game, I thought Bonners was going to hand us our butts, I really did," Bulldogs' coach Nick Guida said. "They have better stick handling skills and they're aggressive. But we've been working on teamwork and playing positions, and it paid off."
