Greta B. Burt, 95, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2007, in Damascus, Ore.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, May 13, 2007, at Coffelt's Funeral Chapel, 109 N. Division Ave., in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 14, 2007, at Pack River Cemetery in Sandpoint.

Great was born on Aug. 22, 1911, in Hillyard, Wash., the daughter of Carl Olson and Jennie (Johnson) Olsson.

She married Ardley P. Burt on June 27, 1934, in Sandpoint in a double ceremony with her sister Linnea and Robert Karstad.

As a child she moved around a lot but mostly in Spokane and Sandpoint areas. After marriage they lived on family dairy farm in the Center Valley area.

She kept busy helping with the many chores there are on a farm and raising daughter Diana. S

he was also active in the Center Valley birthday club. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

After their retirement they enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Arizona. After her husband passed away she moved to Damascus to be closer to family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ardley of 67 years.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Diana and Al Jacobson of Damascus; three grandchildren Bryan Jacobson of Boise, Idaho, Becky Hansel of Camas,Wash., and Bobbi Buttler of Portland, Ore.; six great-grandchildren; her sister, Betty Beaudette of DesMoines, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
