Loss of free speech more harmful than comment

Regarding Mr. Ouimet's "Imus Needs to Go."

Sticks and stones may break my bones …

First, I didn't know ebonics was the official language here. The mental image that a knappy-headed hoe brings to my mind is one of a yard implement with Velcro affixed to its head. As a matter of fact, with a little more embellishment, I can see a good scarecrow for the garden.

Maybe with an old string mop head then I'd have a blond hoe.

Imagine Santa's surprise when he can't greet Christians … How about Christmas … Nope, might offend the Christians … How about biggest retail shopping season of the year?

If you want to hear offensive, try listening to some of the rap songs being sung. Or if you don't want to be offended, don't listen!

Mr. Ouimet, what will hurt more than words is when we don't have the freedom to say those words … and at this rate, that's coming quickly.
