ITD doing nothing but wasting our time

Catch this. ITD spends a cool half million on their wetlands permit application. No sooner does the Corps issue a draft permit then it come under an immediately cloud of suspicion because they estimated the 3,900-foot tunnel, not the 1,200-foot version promoted by "said" flip-flop wingnut from San Francisco.

Now, given the myriad of reasons ITD has told us they "can't possibility build a tunnel in Sandpoint" — how would the sharp knives be so stupid to estimate the wrong tunnel? "Just makin' sure!"

Can these people be any more effective in wasting our tax dollars to attract lawsuits or have they just pegged the meter! ITD, it's compliance, not defiance, that's going to protect you from litigation.
