Birds' gift sparking students' imagination

I applaud Drs. Forrest and Pamela Bird for their commitment and devotion to education and their magnanimous gift to this community, especially to the children and teachers of the Northwest.

This generous gift will, without doubt, dazzle the imagination of all who enter. This could be the creative genesis of many young minds that will be challenged by possibilities. Children will find themselves at a gateway into the future and be transported to the unknown. The Birds have created a sanctuary, a haven for young minds to be stimulated, for teachers to ignite a spark and to see themselves as part of their future and destiny.

Forest and Pam are rare, sterling individuals who are praiseworthy. They are exemplary, decent people who I support and I am proud to be counted among their friends.
