Koko James had seven kills and 21 assists, Piper Wahlin added 12 kills, and Abby Helander had 21 digs while keeping everyone clicking.

"Abby was a spark plug tonight," said Sandpoint coach Karen Alsager. "She had some back row attacks that were really good."

Sandpoint (13-0, 8-0 IEL) continues to mow through league opponents, and will get its stiffest challenge of the season when Moscow comes to town tonight for a big 4A clash.

"We're ready for a challenge and I think that's going to happen against Moscow," said Alsager, noting her team has hit a plateau. "We seem to be playing average ball right now. We need a team that's going to push us, hit hard at us."

Ashley Kelly had eight kills and Rose Brooks 16 digs to lead Lake City (9-8, 4-5).

Sandpoint hosts Moscow in a key 4A North league match tonight at 7 p.m. at Les Rogers Court. When Sandpoint played at Moscow, Alsager called the crowd at the Bear Den the toughest her team has faced all year, and hopes Sandpoint can draw an equally large and boisterous crowd tonight.
