Sandpoint JV soccer standout Emily Jordan was invited to finish the season with the varsity team. Jordan, a freshman, is coming off an amazing first year, tallying 25 goals and numerous assists. Her attitude and leadership on the field was a definite asset to a great season.
Senior defender Katie Whalen will also join the varsity squad for the upcoming district tourney. Katie, too, had a great season. Her experience at the center defender position was invaluable.
Both players were notified by letter at school last Wednesday. Several other JV players were invited to attend practices with hopes of making Varsity. They include Sydney Morris, Melinda Van Dyk, Mckinzi Obiatek and Jacque Cantrell.
