Extending conditional use permit is right thing to do

Commissioners:

As you prepare for your meetings next week regarding the Bird's requests to extend the temporary conditional use permit to April 2008 and to award a permanent use permit for the museum, I'd like for you to count me among the many supporters of both these measures.

The Bird family members have distinguished themselves as genuine philanthropists who have given of themselves to the betterment of us all. It is only right that we provide them time and space to showcase their contributions to inspire others to look within and find ways that they too can contribute to the greater good.
