Fine Art Tile announces new Sandpoint location

| October 23, 2007 9:00 PM

After 22 years with a downtown studio on First Avenue, Gail and Kate Lyster's Fine Art Tile has a new venue. The kiln is now firing in our beautiful studio at 806 Oak Street in Sandpoint.

For 20 years Gail Lyster has been creating custom tiles for residential and commercial installations including kitchen and bathroom backsplashes, showers, floors, and entries.

Fine Art Tile can also create signage and donor walls for your business, and beautiful tiles to identify your home.

"Each client conveys their stories and ideas, which Fine Art Tile absorbs and executes to the finest detail," Gail Lyster said. "Whether it's a birth announcement, wedding or anniversary keepsake, Fine Art Tile can make your creative ideas a reality."

Not only do hand-painted tiles make beautiful functional gifts of art, Lyster said the tiles that she and her daughter create are fired to 1800 degrees — making them durable inside and out for centuries.

"Their brilliant colors are ready for framing, hanging, or installing," she added.

To schedule a time to visit with Gail and Kate Lyster at their new studio please call 263-0826.

"Come by and enjoy being a part of art in the making," Gail Lyster said.
