Mark Howard Sanborn, 56, passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho, on Friday, Oct. 19, 2007.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 26, in Coffelt's Funeral Chapel. Pastor Mike Couch, First Christian Church will officiate.
Mark Howard Sanborn was born in Hibbing, Minn., on Dec. 3, 1950 and moved to Moses Lake, Wash., in 1952, He graduated from high school in 1968. He attended real estate school and moved to Sandpoint in 1972. He worked for the Bank of America and then established his own real estate company, Sanborn Reality. He also owned and operated mini-storage units in the Sandpoint area.
Mark was a former member of the BPOE No. 1376. He was an avid sportsman, enjoying fishing, hunting, and operating his boat on Lake Pend Oreille.
Mark is survived by his mother, Luella Schuller of Sandpoint; his brothers, Grant (Karen) Sanborn of Spokane, Wash., and Art Sanborn of Grand Forks, N.D.; a nephew, Ben Sanborn of Federal Way, Wash.; two step-brothers Mike Schuller of Colville, Wash., and Steve Schuller of Salem, Ore.
His father Bernard Sanborn preceded him in death.
