Patsy 'Pat' Dunn

| October 25, 2007 9:00 PM

Due to a severe reaction to chemotherapy, which attacked her brain, Patsy "Pat" Dunn lost her valiant flight against cancer on Oct. 23, 2007.

Private family inurnment will be held in the Pack River Cemetery.

Pat was a lifetime resident of Sandpoint. She was born on July 28, 1938, to Robert F. and Olive (McMillan) Winterton. She attended Pack River Elementary and Sandpoint High School, graduating in 1956.

After graduation she worked for Crescent Department Store in Spokane in the auditing department and Boeing Airplane Company in Seattle.

She married William (Budd) Dunn in Coeur d'Alene on Sept. 5, 1959. Their son, Paegon, was born in 1961 and preceded Pat in death June 2007.

Pat enjoyed camping, four-wheeling, fishing and working in her garden.

She loved dogs, wild animals and the birds she fed and watched.

After their son started high school, she went to work for Bonner County Department of Motor Vehicles, a job she loved because of all the people and friends she made while working there 25 years before retiring in the year 2000. She continued to work part-time for years after that.

Pat is survived by her husband, Budd Dunn of Sandpoint; two sisters, Wilma Nave of Seattle, Wash., and Gail Anderson of Sandpoint, Idaho; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, and her son, Paegon.

Pat wanted the following message to be given to all her friends and relatives upon her death: Remember me with smiles and laughter for now and ever after. If it makes you sad my memory to recall then please don't remember me at all. (PD).

Family and friends are invited to sign Pat's on line guest book at www.coffeltfuneral.com.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service.
