On October 15, 2007, the Academy of Northwest Writers and Publishers (dba Sandpoint Community Radio) submitted an application to the Federal Communications Commission for a construction permit for a new noncommercial, educational FM Station to serve the greater Sandpoint, Idaho, area, on 88.5 MHz, at 720 watts E.R.P. from a transmitter at 48.36.37 N. Lat, 116.15.24 W Long., with antenna center line at 15 meters above ground level, and from a main studio located at a site to be determined within the corporate limits of Sandpoint, Idaho. The names of the directors and officers of the Academy of Northwest Writers and Publishers (dba Sandpoint Community Radio) are as follows: Christine Holbert, President; Scott Daily, Vice President; Nicole Holbert, Secretary; and Leon Atkinson, Treasurer. Copies of the application, any amendments, and related materials are on file for public inspection at 110 Main Street, Suite 214, Sandpoint, Idaho.
