Sharon D. Turnbaugh, 65

Sharon D. Turnbaugh, 65, passed away Oct. 7, 2007, at Sutter Amador Hospital in Jackson, Calif.

She was born Nov. 30, 1941, in Calistoga, Calif.

Sharon grew up in Quincy, Calif., and lived in various places in Oregon and California.

She was a stay-at-home wife and mother for many years.

Her first out-of-the-home job was as a secretary for a moving company.

In 1995, she moved to Sandpoint, Idaho, to be closer to two of her four children.

She went to Wal-Mart when it first opened in Ponderay. She worked there until the fall of 2003 when she relocated to Jackson to be with her sisters. She retired from Wal-Mart in 2006.

She enjoyed sewing and making things with her hands.

She especially loved camping and hunting and fishing with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Jean Bell; and her eldest sister, Sandra Teater.

She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Michelle and Herb Terrell of Lavare, Fla., Jennifer and Robin Logan of Fairfield, Calif., Suzanne and Don Lynott of Athol, Idaho, and David and Angela Turnbaugh of Sandpoint; her ex-husband and friend, Cecil Turnbaugh of Willits, Calif.; her younger sister, Judy Williams Hill of Jackson; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends she has made over the years.

Private family services will be held.

We will always hold her close in our hearts and we will miss her dearly.
