Arrest has nothing to do with politics

| September 1, 2007 9:00 PM

Hold it folks, the arrest and conviction of Sen. Larry Craig had nothing to do with politics. Mr. D. Irving's rage against Mr. Keyes is just that, rage. Mr. Irving suggests the arrest was a Democrat cover-up, but the facts prove otherwise. Let's look at the case in light of the truth. Mr. Craig entered a restroom on his own, and was not led there by the officer. Then again, the officer may have been handsome and Craig may have followed him into the restroom. The officer did not entice Sen. Craig to put his foot all the way over into the officer's stall, nor did the officer cause Sen. Craig to place his hand completely under the partition (palm up), and to wave for the officer to come on over.

By the way, Craig's hand was not on the floor, it was just under the partition. It was a good bust. Now how would I know this? I'll have to fall back on when I worked on the vice squad on the Los Angeles Police Department. I promise you, we didn't go to those dirty restrooms to arrest homosexuals because we had nothing else to do. In fact, we hated having to go into those filthy places, but no restroom in Los Angeles frequented by children was (is) safe from them, and we had many child victims who will spend the rest of their lives remembering in disgust what happened to them, and most likely they are still afraid to enter those places.
