Bobby G. Peck, 66

| September 5, 2007 9:00 PM

Bobby "Bob" Peck, 66, passed away in his home on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2007, surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Bob was born to Twila and Eugene Peck on Oct. 30, 1940, in Rogersville Mo. He was the eldest brother to Dana, Carolyn, Bev and Carl. Bob's family lived in Rogersville until they relocated to Fontana, Calif., where he attended high school.

Throughout Bob's life he had the opportunity to live in various locations, and in 1975 he met Cindy and her three young daughters while living in Spokane, Wash. Bob and Cindy dated for three years and married in Colfax, Wash,. on June 10, 1978. Bob enjoyed spending time with his family, and loved to hunt, fish, and go camping, (and yes to indulge in the occasional friendly poker party — where the six shooters were checked at the door).

Bob spent most of his career in the farming industry driving and maintaining equipment on wheat farms and cattle ranches. Bob and Cindy found their place in Clark Fork, Idaho, in May 1997, and this is where he considered his true home.

During his time in Clark Fork, Bob acquired many friends which he treasured dearly. Bob was kind, generous and always willing to help those in need. For Bob there were no strangers, just friends he hadn't yet met.

Bob is survived by Cindy, his loving wife of 30 years; daughters, Carrie Fisk and her husband Doug of Walla Walla, Wash., Chelane Connell and her husband Patrick of Rose Lake, Idaho, and Christina Breon of Spokane. Bob has two granddaughters, five grandsons, and a great-grandson. Bob will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

Friends and family are welcome to join us for a potluck gathering in celebration of Bob's life at 1 p.m. Sept. 29, 2007, at the private home of Thymon VanWaveren located 4.8 miles east of Clark Fork on Highway 200. Driving directions will be posted along the route.
